According to authorities on June 21 KST singer Choi Sung Bong (33) was found deceased at his home in Seoul. It is believed that he took his own life after posting a message on his YouTube channel that hinted at his extreme choice.

The police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances leading up to his untimely death. 

As a contestant on the tvN audition program 'Korea's Got Talent' in 2011, Choi Sung Bong captivated audiences with his story of resilience and determination. He had run away from an orphanage as a child and endured a difficult life of manual labor, but never gave up on his dream of becoming a singer. His journey resonated with viewers all over the world, and he became a runner-up winner.

However, in recent years, the singer faced controversy after it was revealed that he had lied about being terminally ill, having various cancers and soliciting donations from the public for treatment.
