Xikers member Junghoon has suffered a serious knee injury, and will be going on a temporary hiatus to focus on his recovery. 

On May 5 KST, KQ Entertainment revealed,

"Hello, this is KQ Entertainment. 

We would like to notify you with an update on Xikers member Junghoon's future activities.

Junghoon recently experienced pain in his knee while carrying out his schedules, and visited a medical specialist for a thorough examination. 

Based on the examination results, Junghoon has been diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. As the medical specialist advised that he needed to undergo surgery, the exact date and schedule of Junghoon's surgery is currently under adjustment.

After undergoing surgery, it was advised that Junghoon undergo physical therapy for a limited period, and as a result, he plans on halting all of his promotions temporarily in order to focus on his treatment and physical therapy, as to recover as soon as possible.

We plan on notifying you on Junghoon's return to promotions at a later date, and we also apologize for causing fans concern with the sudden news. 

We will continue to prioritize Junghoon's treatment and recovery, and will do our best so that he can resume his schedules upon recovery.

Meanwhile, KQ Entertainment's rookie boy group Xikers debuted earlier this year on March 30 with the release of their 1st mini album, 'House of Tricky : Doorbell Ringing'. The group is now promoting with their follow-up track, "Rockstar".
