MONSTA X's Jooheon confirms May 22 solo debut with a new teaser poster

Jooheon has officially started counting down to his solo debut.

On May 1 KST, Starship Entertainment released a solo debut album poster for Jooheon on MONSTA X's official social media.

The poster draws attention with the bold design incorporating a golden yellow against a pale blue backdrop. It also indicates that the release will be in the form of a mini album titled 'Lights.'

Meanwhile, 'Lights' will be released on May 22.

In kpop, all of those mixtapes would be considered pre-debut content. As long as he or the company has never stated before that he has debuted solo, then this is pretty normal in kpop.

this is definitely not his solo debut though.... he has released several mixtapes that were functionally EPs/mini albums. psyche came out a few years ago. so i guess the argument can be made that this /is/ his first mini album, but not a debut.
