It looks like Jinhwan's solo debut is coming real soon!

Excitement for the solo debut of iKON's main vocalist Kim Jinhwan doubles as he opens his official Japan fanclub on Friday, May 26. Fans believe the opening of the fan club is part of the preparations for his solo debut, eventually foreshadowing solo promotions in the country.

Fans have been long excited for Jinhwan's solo debut since early this year, as 143 Entertainment's CEO teased on an Instagram post. Jinhwan also seems excited as he freely gives out spoilers. In particular, in the recent iKON concert in Taipei, Jinhwan sang a snippet of one of the tracks for his upcoming solo album. The song was also revealed written by member Donghyuk.

The date for Jinhwan's solo is yet to be announced, but it is reportedly slated for either July or August, as Jinhwan revealed in a recent fan signing event.

Both a good singer and dancer and a total performer, Jinhwan is known for his clean and soulful voice and for his smooth and fluid style of dancing. Curiosity is high as to what genre and color Jinhwan is going to take on for his solo.
