Former 'Produce 101' trainee Kim Ji Sung crowned Miss Korea Seoul 2023; to go on to compete in Miss Korea pageant

Kim Ji Sung, who previously appeared as a trainee on 'Produce 101,' has been crowned Miss Korea Seoul 2023 at the organization's 67th annual pageant.

Kim Ji Sung, who is now active as an actress, competed in the pageant with her younger sister Kim Hong Eun at Seoul's Dongduk Women's University Centennial Hall on May 20.

Previously, Kim Ji Sung competed on 'Produce 101' as a trainee of Happyface Entertainment and finished at #68. In an introduction video featuring the Miss Korea Seoul candidates, she expressed as aspirations to "become the ending fairy of Miss Seoul 2023 with [her] various charms." 



Meanwhile, Kim Ji Sung will be moving on to the Miss Korea 2023 pageant to be held this October, where she will be competing against other candidates who won their own regional pageants.

still remember when she ranked 5th overall in visuals and knetz were pissed that she was eliminated in the 1st round bc mnet wouldn’t give her screentime.

and then her group debut was cancelled bc happy face decided to debut dreamcatcher instead + a trainee left the company
