BTS dominate iTunes charts worldwide with OST 'The Planet'

Shortly after its global release, BTS's anticipated original soundtrack for animated series 'Bastions,' titled "The Planet" immediately entered iTunes charts in various countries across the globe.

"The Planet" swept the top of the global chart, debuting straight at No. 1 on both the worldwide and European iTunes song charts.

In addition, "The Planet" hit No. 1 on iTunes' top songs chart in over 70 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Finland, France, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, and more.

Furthermore, it landed atop the iTunes chart in the US, making BTS's "The Planet" the first-ever song by a K-Pop idol group released this year to reach No. 1 on the chart.

"The Planet" is their first music release as a full group since "Yet To Come" last year. It's about working together to save the day, and RM participated in composing and writing the lyrics.
