The K-pop world and ASTRO fans have been brought to shock when the heartbreaking news of Moonbin's death hit the news Wednesday morning on April 19.

OnApril 19 at 8:10 PM KST, Moonbin was found by his managerat his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and called the police. The police assume that Moonbin had taken his own life, and an autopsy is being conducted to investigate the exact cause of his death.

The news of Moonbin's passing has been so sudden that many fans have been doubtful of the initial reports of his death.

On April 20, KST, Fantagio confirmed the news and released an official statement announcing Moonbin's passing.
