Superstar group BLACKPINK has constantly been breaking one record after another on various music platforms proving their colossal impact worldwide, and even though they haven't released any group music this year yet, they have once again set a new milestone within Kpop.

In particular, BLACKPINK has just surpassed 40 Million followers on Spotify, becoming the first girl group to achieve it in history. Not only that, but with that figure, they have joined Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Adele, Selena Gomez, and Neha Kakkar as the only female artists to have achieved it in history.

A few days ago, it was also reported that BLACKPINK had reached an all-time record on Spotify after surpassing 10 billion streams on the platform, becoming the first girl group in history to do so, proving that they can stay strong despite the few songs that they have in their repertoire and with the ability to compete against pop artists who have a vast discography.
