MONSTA X's Minhyuk announces his mandatory service enlistment date

On March 13 KST, MONSTA X member Minhyuk delivered news of his mandatory military enlistment to fans via the group's official fan cafe.

The idol revealed in a letter dedicated to fans, "Starting on April 4, I will not be able to see you all very often for a short while, as I will be away serving my duties to the country. I need to come to the cafe to write messages to you guys and look through new posts and share photos and tell you all that I'm done with my workout and do Bubble lives and all the things that Monbebes love, but I won't be able to do any of that for a short while, which pains me the most. Other than that, I intend on going with a happy heart."

Minhyuk continued, "I'm actually already looking forward to using this time that's ahead of me as a time to make myself stronger and return a better person, one who can receive even more love from Monbebes. And it's not like I'm going somewhere very far away either, so please try not to be too sad." 

Finally, Minhyuk stated, "During this time that I am away, I will make sure to build myself up stronger both inside and outside and return a better person. Monbebe, I love you so much, thank you, and I'll see you with a big smile next year. I'll be back soon."

Minhyuk will officially be the second member of MONSTA X to begin his mandatory military service, following Shownu who enlisted in July of 2021.
