Taecember: BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) occupies the entire Top 15 Twitter trends as his 27th birthday becomes a worldwide festival

BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, has now turned 27 years old, and the entire world is celebrating "Taecember."

As soon as December 30 began, congratulatory messages from fans all over the world started pouring out on social media. Music platforms, news media, entertainment accounts, and celebrities from around the world also joined in the celebration.

Due to Taehyung's massive popularity, several hashtags and keywords related to his birthday occupied the entire Top 15 of worldwide trends on Twitter. His hashtag #HAPPYVDAY trended to #1 in more than 40 countries for the entire day.

Fans worldwide are making  Taehyung's presence shine brighter on his birthday by organizing numerous projects to celebrate him. In South Korea alone, more than 100 birthday projects, amounting to nearly 20,000 birthday ads, were seen in the metropolitan area.  

Aside from his home country, Taehyung is receiving a worldwide celebration befitting his global superstar status. From Asia, South America, North America, Oceania, Europe and Africa, a huge number of projects were held around the globe by his fanbases in their own countries.
