BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, is getting people into the holiday spirit with his surprise gift.

On December 24 KST, Taehyung dropped a surprise cover for the 1951 Christmas song "It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" on Soundcloud and YouTube.

"It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" is a classic Christmas song that was originally written in 1951 by Meredith Wilson. Over the years, it has been covered by numerous artists, including Bing Crosby, Michael Bublé, Meghan Trainor, and many others.

Fans were also delighted by a surprise cameo of his beloved pet dog Yeontan who hasn't been seen for quite some time. 

Following the release of his surprise Christmas cover, various phrases and keywords related to Taehyung occupied the Top 7 worldwide trends on Twitter. 

Fans gushed over Taehyung's beautiful voice and have dubbed him the 'King of Winter' for his love of releasing songs during December, his birth month.
