BLACKPINK took home two trophies at the '2022 MTV European Music Awards,' for the first time as a female K-Pop group, including Lisa's Best K-Pop Award.
On November 13th, the '2022 MTV European Music Awards' took place in Düsseldorf, Germany. On this day, BLACKPINK won the Best Metaverse Performance Award, and the group's member Lisa won the Best K-Pop Award with her solo album 'LALISA'.
This makes BLACKPINK the first K-Pop female artist to win two trophies at the 'MTV EMA'. Also, this makes Lisa the first solo artist to win the Best K-Pop Award.
Meanwhile, the members shared their acceptance speech through a video call as they are currently touring the world.
