BTS's Kim Taehyung surpasses 9 Million Followers on Spotify before a solo album release

With just three K-drama soundtracks under his profile, V has officially surpassed 9 million followers on Spotify, one of the biggest music streaming sites in the world.
Taehyung is currently the 4th most-followed K-pop soloist and the 8th most-followed K-pop artist overall. He is the only Korean soloist in the Top 4 without an official solo debut album or mixtape release.
With nearly 4 million new followers gained from January to July, Taehyung is also the most-followed K-pop soloist in 2022, without releasing a new song this year.
"Christmas Tree" is his 3rd OST after "It's Definitely You" and "Sweet Night" for the drama series 'Our Beloved Summer.' It remains the most-streamed male solo song this year, despite being released in 2021, proving its stability in popularity.
