The results of last week's Billboard Charts race are in, and it looks like j-hope has a winner in "MORE" — the pre-released track from his upcoming solo album, Jack In The Box.

Aside from landing on the #1 spots for World Digital Song Sales and Emerging Artists, j-hope also made history as the first Korean soloist to reach any of Billboard's Rock/Alternative Charts.

He is the first Korean artist to hit the Alternative Digital Song Sales and Alternative Streaming Songs charts, as well as the first Korean soloist to reach the Hot Alternative Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts.

This is not the first time that j-hope has made history on the Billboard Charts. His previous solo music releases, Hope World (his first mixtape), Daydream, and Chicken Noodle Soup, have also earned him these major music career milestones:

• 1st Korean soloist to reach #1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales Chart
• 1st Korean soloist to reach #1 on Billboard’s World Album Chart
• 1st Korean soloist to reach Billboard’s Pop Digital Song Sales Chart

Aside from these landmark achievements, j-hope and his newest single also charted on these top Billboard charts:

The song also found itself as the #2 top-selling song of the week, according to Billboard.

Judging by these many landmark achievements, j-hope proves that pursuing one's artistic passion and stepping out of the proverbial "box" has its rewards!

"MORE" is a pre-released track from j-hope's upcoming solo album, which is scheduled for release on July 15. Together with the album drop, the second title track, "Arson," will be made available on various music streaming platforms and digital music stores everywhere.
