LE SSERAFIM's Sakura recalled seeing her estranged father for the first time.
On the May 14th episode of 'Knowing Brothers', Sakura opened up about her most memorable fan. She shared, "My parents divorced when I was only one years old. I had never seen my dad, and I had never seen a picture of him."
Sakura continued, "I went to my first handshake event in my hometown though I didn't know my father's face. A man came along and said, 'I'm rooting for you.' As soon as I shook his hand, he said, 'I'm your dad.' He just said that he's cheering me on. I didn't know his fans, but I felt that there was something."
The LE SSERAFIM member then discussed her second most memorable fan, saying, "After that is my grandma. She suddenly said, 'Do you not remember me?' That's when I suddenly realized that was really my dad. I remember that the most."
As for whether she saw her dad ever again after that, Sakura simply replied, "No."

that’s kinda sad. I wonder if it was sakura who didn’t want to see him again. otherwise what was the point of coming to a fan event and saying you’re cheering her on, if you’re not gonna keep in touch with your daughter?
