On a recent TikTok Live, American R&B singer and songwriter Giveon spoke about his meeting with BTS and his interaction with Kim Taehyung. 

He revealed that he met BTS twice, during the Grammys and the American Music Awards 2021. When asked about possible collaborations, he mentioned his cute interaction with V. 

"I love BTS. I have seen them at the AMAs when I literally stopped mid performance to shake (V) hand. I was like he’s right here and I was like okay I got to keep singing this song"  - Giveon

During the 2021 AMAs, social media went crazy when Giveon stopped his performance midway to shake Taehyung's hands, who was vibing to his performance in the crowd. It became one of the standout moments of the night. 

Giveon also excited fans when he replied, "Can we manifest this" to a tweet wishing for a collab between him and V. Both artists share a mutual respect for one another, and fans are hopeful to see a future project with them together.
