Youn Yuh Jung's witty comment on actor Jin Ha wearing a Hanbok dress garnered attention. 

On March 17th, Jin Ha appeared on the red carpet LA premiere of Apple TV+'s 'Pachinko' in a Hanbok dress. It was reported Youn Yuh Jung's initial reaction had everyone laughing. Youn Yuh Jung said, "I was surprised. There was a lady in Hanbok so I asked who she was. I was told it was none other than Jin Ha. He is the real performer." 

On this day Jin Ha commented about his red carpet look, "Wearing women's Hanbok was an event. Usually, men opt for suits and women opt for dresses or gowns for the events. I got to question that as I grew older. This is not about my identity. It was an opportunity to shine and I thought Hanbok was perfect for the occasion. The colors were stunning and it also had Korean national flower embroidery. I live in New York but I rented it from a shop in a different region."

Meanwhile, 'Pachinko', starring Youn Yuh Jung, Lee Min Ho, and Jin Ha, will be released worldwide on March 25th through Apple TV+. The series is based on the New York Times bestseller of the same name by Korean-American writer Lee Min Jin and tells the story of four generations of an immigrated Korean family.
