IST Entertainment has confirmed that another member of The Boyz has recently come down with COVID-19.
On March 13 KST, the agency took to The Boyz's official fan cafe to announce that New has tested positive.
According to the announcement, New began feeling COVID-19 symptoms on March 12. He tested positive through a self-test kit that day, then took a PCR test, and has since found out he tested positive via PCR as well.
New is in the middle of checking quarantine guidelines and how long he will have to quarantine. After that, he plans to focus on treatment. Other than a cough he is currently not experiencing any other symptoms.
Meanwhile, the agency has apologized to fans for causing concern and vowed that they will do their best to ensure their artist's quick recovery.
