Just about a week ago, HyunA and Dawn brought surprising but joyful news of their engagement. 

The two idols made the announcement through their social media as Dawn created a post with the caption "MARRY ME," while HyunA made a post that had the caption, "Of course, it's a yes." Both of the artists uploaded photos of their unique engagement rings and received much support and congratulatory messages from fans.

However, former entertainment reporter/ YouTuber Lee Jin Ho raised suspicions and questioned whether this engagement announcement was official or just another social media performance.

Recently, Lee Jin Ho posted a video on his official YouTube channel with the title, "HyunA and Dawn's marriage announcement mystery..." In the video, the reporter began by explaining, "Dawn posted a photo of an engagement ring on his social media on the third with the caption 'MARRY ME,' and HyunA accepted his proposal saying 'Of course, it's a yes' This is clear to anyone that the two are getting ready to get married." He continued to say, "However, there are questionable parts. It seems that the agency was not aware of the proposal announcement, and it was not agreed upon in advance."

Lee Jin Ho elaborated, "If the proposal was done under the agreement with the agency, the agency would have released an official statement announcing the proposal of the two artists. However, the agency only released a statement saying they are currently confirming the facts. This means that it was not agreed upon." Lee Jin Ho further explained, "Many might think, 'why does that matter?' However, agencies would take charge of the wedding and this arbitrary announcement with the agreement from the agency might break the trust between the artist and company."

Lee Jin Ho also pointed out, "It is a fact that it is difficult currently to confirm whether this proposal is a performance or an official announcement." He added, "HyunA and Dawn were kicked out from Cube Entertainment back in 2018 after the two admitted to their relationship and had to go through hard times. Therefore, I wish that the two are now able to settle down and continue their love with much support."
