With his solo songs, BTS's Jimin is continuing to carve his place in the field of music as well as on the minds of listeners.

On the 30th of December 2018, BTS' Jimin released his self composed and written song Promise on the WorldWide streaming platform SoundCloud. As soon as it was released, the mellow pop ballad went on to break Drake's record and enjoy the platform's biggest 24-hour debut with 8.5 Million streams. Now it has surpassed 300 Million streams, thus maintaining its status as the most-streamed song on SoundCloud's history and is the first song on SoundCloud ever to achieve this milestone.

Along with fans, SoundCloud led other media outlets in celebrating this monumental occasion with #PromiseByJimin300M trending at #1,#지민아_약속_300M_축하해 at #4, HISTORY MAKER JIMIN at #6 and Congratulations Jimin coming in at #12 WorldWide. This happened in more than 15 countries, including the United States and South Korea.

Just as fans were celebrating Promise's achievement, Filter went on to surpass 230 Million streams on Spotify a few hours later. Released on the 21st of February 2020, it remains the fastest B-side, unpromoted Korean Male Solo and Korean Solo song to achieve this feat. Lately, the song appeared on Spotify's Top 20 Most streamed K-POP songs of 2021 at #16, making it the most-streamed Korean Male solo. Out of all BTS solo songs on Spotify, it currently has the highest daily streaming rates, having hit 430K streams on the 7th.

A day after these grand achievements, on the 8th of December, Jimin's song Christmas Love went on to achieve 44 Million streams on SoundCloud after previously surpassing 40 Million streams on YouTube. The song was the most streamed Korean Youtube audio in its first 24 hours, and along with performing well on several charts, it received radio play and was widely used in shows.
