On November 24, Artist Company announced that "Lee Jung Jae will be departing for the United States on the 27th to attend the 2021 Gotham Awards that will be held on the 29th."

Lee Jung Jae was nominated for the 'Outstanding Performance in a New Series' with the Netflix original series 'Squid Game.' Lee Jung Jae will be competing alongside Ethan Hawke from the series 'The Good Lord Bird.'
