Im Soo Jung and Lee Do Hyun gave a glimpse of their upcoming chemistry in the new tvN drama 'Melancholia'.

On September 24 KST, tvN's 'Melancholia' (screenplay written by Kim Ji Woon, directed by Kim Sang Hyub) released several photos from the cast and crew's first script reading. Here, veteran actress Im Soo Jung and rising actor Lee Do Hyun, as well as other actors, were seen concentrating on their script. 

'Melancholia' depicts the story of a math teacher and a math genius who overcome prejudices, with the background of mathematics. The casting news of Im Soo Jung (who plays the role of the math teacher Ji Yoon Soo) and Lee Do Hyun (who plays the role of 'math genius' Baek Seung Yoo) garnered a lot of attention, with many looking forward to their on-screen chemistry. Im Soo Jung expressed her excitement in portraying the passionate math teacher Ji Yoon Soo. She stated, "It's such an honor to be able to participate in a good project with good actors. I will work hard to not be a burden, and to create a good production."

'Melancholia' is scheduled to premiere later this year.
