BTS' Jimin's humble gesture of gratitude makes headlines

On the 19th of July, it was announced that BTS's new song Permission To Dance had dethroned another of their hit songs, Butter, to rank first on the Billboard Hot 100 chart!

In response to this incredible feat, the ARMY and BTS were overjoyed and thankful. In particular, member Jimin's kind words, his gesture of both humility and gratitude, a grand bow were enough to well up the fans' hearts with the recognition of the great honor and respect that the idol had bestowed towards them.

Their reactions were full of respect and admiration for the artist as they showed their love for him as well. The keywords JIMIM, Jiminie trended high worldwide, in South Korea, various keywords like (우리 지민) our Jimin and (#지민이없으면나어떻게해) what would I do without Jimin occupied the trends. He also took the highest spots on Japanese Twipple trends at number 3, and in various other countries, fans continued to show their gratitude by trending I love you Jimin along with other related keywords and messages.

The next day as the media reported the incredible feat, BTS Jimin was also seen on the front page of the Herald Economy Newspaper. Along with this, he also featured on other major Korean media outlets like SBS News, KBS News, YTN News, Yonhap, and more.

The fans were deeply touched when they saw him on the front page of the newspaper, and within an hour of the release of the day's issue, the Herald Economy was discovered to have been sold out, making it difficult for others to get a hold of it. 

Phone calls were made to try and secure copies even for the next day, something which also proved difficult. To remedy this, however, there are those who scanned copies of the issue, which they graciously shared online so that others could have access to them.

Park Jimin is indeed a man of virtue; he continues to show us that it is important always to be good human beings who show our gratefulness at all times. He is a model for good character.
