The cast of the musical "1976 Harlan County" has been announced.

The musical "1976 Harlan County," which was confirmed to begin staging at the Chungmu Art Center on May 28 and directed by Yoo Byung Eun; will be composed of talented actors including Oh Jong Hyuk, Lee Hong Ki, Sandeul, Lee Gun Myeong, Kim Hyeong Gyun, Kim Ryun Ho and Ahn Se Ha.

Based on a passionate true story of the Harlan County coal mine, a turning point in the American labor movement, the creative musical "1976 Harlan County" tells a story that takes place in 1976, more than 100 years after the abolition of American slavery. Beginning with Daniel's journey out of New York for the freedom of Black Riley, it depicts the shouting and struggle of workers against the persecution of a mining company in Harlan County, a mining town in Kentucky in the American South.

In particular, to play the role of Daniel, the main character with a warm and innocent heart; Oh Jong Hyuk, known for the musicals "Me And Natasha And The White Donkey" and "Rent." Lee Hong Ki (FTISLAND), who solidified his position as a musical actor by showing his wide range of acting in musicals such as "Return" and "The Days." Sandeul (B1A4), who demonstrated his successful acting and singing skills in musicals such as "Three Musketeers" and "Cinderella." All three were cast to show the charm of 3 separate colors. In particular, Lee Hong Ki, who was discharged from the military on April 18, attracts great attention as it is his first project since his discharge.

Also, while Lee Gun Myeong and Kim Hyeong Gyun play the role of John, who fought for the mining association, Kim Ryun Ho and Ahn Se Ha will play the role of Riley, who cares for Daniel like a parent. Im Chan Min and Lee Sang Ah play the role of Harlan County's female miner Elena; Kim Ah Sun as John's wife Natalie; Im Byeong Geun and Kim Ji Cheol as Bae Jil, who fights her beliefs on the other side of the union; if in the role as Patterson, who puts pressure on the union for their own interests will play by Kang Sung Jin and Kim Sang Hyun.
