According to media outlet reports on February 4, Mnet's 'M! Countdown' has chosen its brand new MCs, taking over for Lee Dae Hwi and Han Hyun Min!

The brand new faces of 'M! Countdown' in 2021 will be none other than (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and actor Nam Yoon Soo. The two stars are both known to be 1997-liners, and will show fans a slightly different kind of same-age friends chemistry from Lee Dae Hwi and Han Hyun Min.

Meanwhile, actor Nam Yoon Soo previously garnered attention for his performance in the Netflix original series 'Extracurricular'. (G)I-DLE's Miyeon also recently made her acting debut in the ongoing web drama series, 'Replay'. 

[UPDATE] 'M! Countdown' has now confirmed with media outlets that Lee Dae Hwi and Han Hyun Min will be departing from the music program after this week's broadcast on February 4. Miyeon and Nam Yoon Soo will be hosting 'M! Countdown' starting on February 18. There will be no live broadcast on February 11 due to the Lunar New Year holidays.
