A total of 22 currently promoting K-Pop idol groups participated in a special Lunar New Year survey conducted by Sports Seoul, casting their votes for the most handsome and the most beautiful idol of 2021!

The groups who participated anonymously in this survey included: (G)I-DLE, ITZY, NCT 127, Kang Daniel, NU'EST, The Boyz, MAMAMOO, MONSTA X, BTOB, Seventeen, STAYC, Stray Kids, Secret Number, IZ*ONE, ENHYPEN, Oh My Girl, LOONA, Changmo, CRAVITY, TOMORROW x TOGETHER, TREASURE, and Pentagon.

The Most Handsome K-Pop Idol of 2021

1. ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo (18 votes)

23-years old. This marks Cha Eun Woo's 3rd consecutive year being voted #1 in this survey, followed by his 2nd place ranking in 2017 and 2018. 

2. Seventeen's Junghan (12 votes)

25-years old. 

3. BTS's V

25-years old.

Meanwhile, 4th place went to two members of NCT, Jaehyun and Lucas. Another NCT member, Taeyong took up 5th place.

The Most Beautiful K-Pop Idol of 2021

1. April's Naeun (9 votes)

21-years old. This year marks the first ever year that Naeun has ranked in the top 3 in this survey. 

2. Red Velvet's Irene (6 votes)

29-years old.

3. IZ*ONE's Kim Min Ju, (G)I-DLE's Miyeon, & Suzy

20-years old (Kim Min Ju), 24-years old (Miyeon), 26-years old (Suzy).
