SPOTV News confirms GOT7’s Yugyeom will be signing an exclusive contract with Jay Park’s AOMG

On January 6th KST, SPOTV confirmed that Yugyeom of GOT7 will be leaving JYP Entertainment after nearly 11 years with the label after signing an exclusive contract with Jay Park’s AOMG hip-hop label.

JYP Entertainment said in a statement: “We are still discussing various possibilities regarding GOT7’s contracts, and we will inform you when we are ready”.

Yugyeom debuted with GOT7 in 2014, after becoming a trainee in 2010 training for nearly 4 years.


We wish Yugyeom the best of luck with all of his future endeavors!

Omg that really came unexpected... I knew they all were gonna leave but Yugyeom signing to aomg? I am so happy for him and aomg releases only bob after bob but I think with this the hope that got7 will continue is even smaller... Also him getting even an offer from aomg just shows how talented he his. Jay Park only accepts people he thinks are real artists. Like this is really a slap to all the hater 😆
