BTS’s “Holiday Fairy” Jimin made this year’s Holidays truly memorable and special by giving fans another surprise gift through a wonderful and positive Christmas song, “Christmas Love.” Jimin and his new solo song immediately broke the internet and set major records on Youtube within 24 hours from its release. 

Jimin dropped his second present to the fans with a song full of joy and positivity called “Christmas Love” on December 24 at 12 noon Korea Time. The song was released on SoundCloud and Youtube. The song is produced by Slow Rabbit, Jimin, and RM.

It may be unexpected, yet the surprised fans hurriedly listened to the song and expressed their messages of love and support on Twitter. Jimin dominated Twitter worldwide trends immediately thereafter.

Jimin further dominated the Worldwide trends. Jimin trended worldwide with 7 keywords and hashtags such as #ChristmasLoveByJimin, #ThankYouJimin, #WeLoveYouJimin, PARK JIMIN, Jiminie, JIMINS, Gracias Jimin. Jimin also trended in the United States with 8 keywords, in South Korea with 11 keywords, and in 30+ countries with 36 keywords.

Jimin likewise trended in the United States at #34 on Google Real-Time Search 3 hours after the release of Christmas Love.

Jimin also trended on Melon search with Christmas Love ranked No. 1 and JIMIN ranked No. 4.

Christmas Love has surpassed 1 million views and 1 million likes on Youtube in less than 3 hours from its release. It reached 2 million views within 4 hours, 3 million views in less than 6 hours, 4 million in less than 8 hours, and 7 million during its first 12 hours. It became the fastest Korean audio to achieve 7 million streams on Youtube.  Christmas Love became the most streamed Korean solo song within 24 hours from its release on Youtube.  

Meanwhile, as of the time of this writing, Christmas Love has surpassed 1.4 million streams on SoundCloud and is still rapidly increasing.
