Muslim K-pop fans angry on Blackpink's Ice Cream's lyrics

Blackpink's recent song 'Ice Cream' has been trending worldwide for days. Though, it received mixed reactions from some fans, it has been doing fairly good.

But some Muslim and Christian K-pop fans are expressing their disappointment about the lyrics.

One of the line of Lisa's lyrics in the song says "Play the part like Moses(peace be upon him), keep it fresh like roses."

Moses, also known as Moshe Rabbenu, is the most important prophet in Judaism, and an important prophet in Christianity, Islam, the Bahá'í Faith, and a number of other Abrahamic religions.

The lyrics have put Prophet Moses in a sexual manner which seems disturbing to the religion.

Fans on Twitter are angry due to the lyrics:

A lot of Muslim fans(mainly from Indonesia) made other Muslims angry because they said that they weren't offended even if it was a part of their religion. Other Muslims in response to  this said:

"Wtf!! Do you guys love your idols more than your religion?"

"This isn't the first time that YG is doing this. And you guys are still on their side?"

"I hate how so many of you are quiet now because it is our religion. This isn't cultural appropriation, this is DEPRECIATION!! If it was again Black Cultural Appropriation, you guys would be angry!"

Bekuh Boom, one of the lyricists of the song, posted this in her story, responding to everyone, though fans are still disappointed and want YG to apologise:

What do you think of this situation?

People are offended when religion is used badly in a song. I’m sorry but people are using religion to kill and I’ve seen less response.

    Shut. The. Fuck. Up
"Islam is a red line" that person is clearly implying that you can diss any other religion other than Islam. Islam isn't better than any other religion and is not exempt from criticism, jokes being made about it or anything of the sorts. And I'm pretty sure listening to music, or music outside of what your religion specifies, is haram. You shouldn't even be listening to this music, so stop sinning and go back to your own music if you're going to complain about nonsensical stuff.
