- Kim Taehyung, also known as V from BTS, topped iTunes chart in fourteen countries with his solo track Inner Child, from the latest released BTS album Map Of The Soul: 7. The track went no.1 on Egypt, Kenya, Philippines, India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Chile, Kazakhstan, Hungary ,Singapore, Malaysia, Colombia and Indonesia.
- According to V, Inner Child is first of his personal track that is bright. It tackles about struggles or hardships, as if speaking to his young self that it will always be part of who he had become to this present day.
- The BTS ARMY and even V’s co-writers behind the track showed love and support to the song by doing the #InnerChildChallenge on Twitter. They showed how they overcome, heal and embraced their inner child by tweeting how they’ve improved from the younger version of themselves to the present.
