Uehara Jun participated on both Produce X 101 & Produce 101 Japan. He didn’t make it far in the former series, but made it towards the finale in the latter series.
He had gain many love calls from both Korean & Japanese companies ever since the finale.
With that said, he has been announced as the 4th member of Orbit Union alongside Miyajima Yugo, Osawa Shunya, & Kim Yoondong.
He will be going with the stage name “June” while in Orbit Union.
It’s speculated that Orbit Union will have 7 members. With Yoondong being the Korean representative and June knowing fluent Korean, alongside the possibility of more Korean members being added to the group, there is a potential chance that the group will promote outside of Japan.

If this is a Jpop group, I highly doubt that they will promote outside of Japan. Japanese groups with Korean members don'tpromote outside the country. At the very most, they will maybe release Korean songs or Korean versions of their songs but I haven't seen many Jpop groups with Korean members promote outside Japan. Maybe they will change this, who knows. June is also a very fitting stage name. I'll be looking forward to this group.
