BTS scooped a win for Greatest Music Moment at the 2020 NME Awards. BTS took the win for their groundbreaking Wembley concerts held in June 2019. Over two nights BTS performed for 120,000 ARMY, the first of which was also live streamed via the VLive App. Allowing their first Wembley performance to reach their large global following.

The concerts included a number of spectacles throughout the almost three hour long run time. From an on stage bouncy castle, a firework display, water jets and even Jungkook flying around Wembley Stadium on a zip wire. BTS reminded fans and critics alike why they have become a global phenomenon.

BTS were the first South Korean group to perform at the iconic venue, joining artists such as Queen, Michael Jackson and Ed Sheeran. The tickets were in incredibly high demand, selling out in 90 minutes with over 200,000 fans in the queue trying to secure tickets. Their Wembley concerts followed a two night stint at The 02 in October 2018, which proved to be record breaking for the group. The 02 confirmed BTS was the most popular show announcement ever, with the biggest merch sales ever recorded for the venue. A record which was previously held by The Rolling Stones since 2012. 

BTS have announced their return to the UK with a two night performance at Twickenham Stadium as part of their Map Of The Soul Tour. The concerts will take place July 3rd-4th, tickets have yet to go on sale but will no doubt sell out quickly if The 02 and Wembley is anything to go by.
