According to the latest chart published by Billboard on August 7 (KST), album "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" by BTS released on April 12 stopped at No. 97 on the Billboard 200 of August 10, 2019.
"MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" is BTS' third album to lead Billboard 200 chart. Previously, "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'" and "LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'", after entering with No. 1 position, also together remained on this chart for a long time. Along with that, "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" also stayed on Billboard 200 chart for 16 weeks in a row
Particularly, after winning first place on the chart, the album was ranked No. 3 for the 2nd week, No. 7 in the 3rd week, No. 8 in the 4th week, No. 17 in the 5th week, No. 21 in the 6th week, No. 26 in the 7th week, No. 31 in the 8th week, No. 38 in the 9th week, No. 46 in the 10th week, No. 52 in the 11th week, No. 65 in the 12th week, No. 70 in the 13th week, No.67 in the 14th week and No.77 in the 15th week.
On the other hand, "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'" - the album which succeeded in coming back to Billboard 200 - also reached No. 115 at the same time, thereby maintaining the position on this chart in 48 weeks. This album first led the Billboard 200 chart right in the first week of release in September 2019, then occupied No.115 in the week of March 30, 2019, No.111 in the week of April 6, but unfortunately, it fell out of the chart in the week of April 13th. However, after that, the album succeeded in returning to No. 65 on the Billboard 200 chart in the week of April 20.
This album ranked No.118 on the chart last week.
