Male trainee Yoon Seo Bin of Mnet's idol survival seires 'Produce X 101' has officially been removed from the program, JYP Entertainment announced on May 8.
Previously, after the airing of the first episode of 'Produce X 101' last week, Yoon Seo Bin became wrapped up in severe bullying, underage drinking, and underage smoking rumors. After remaining silent for a few days, his agency JYP Entertainment has finally spoken up with a statement as follows:
"Hello. This is JYP Entertainment. We would like to notify you regarding trainee Yoon Seo Bin.
We have recently come to the conclusion that trainee Yoon Seo Bin of Mnet's 'Produce X 101' does not meet our agency's policy and criteria, and therefore announce the cancellation of his trainee contract. As a result, he will also be leaving the survival program."
Meanwhile, Yoon Seo Bin's latest rank based on netizen votes after last week's airing of 'Produce X 101' was #12.
