It has been confirmed Eddy Kim was a member of Jung Joon Young's controversial chatroom. However, the singer's agency, Mystic Story, emphasized Eddy Kim did not share illegally filmed content. 

Despite the official statement, Eddy Kim continued to receive heavy criticism. It's assumed he ultimately turned his account private due to the overwhelming amount of netizen comments on his account. 

His social media activity is leading to more criticism as netizens criticize him for shutting his account without even providing an apology. 

Meanwhile, Eddy Kim has been removed from the lineup for the 'Green Plugged Seoul 2019.'
