BTS' Jungkook apologizes for his past statement on releasing a mixtape

Jungkook apologized about his statement on releasing a mixtape.

On April 17, BTS held a global press conference for their new album 'Map of the Soul: Persona.' One question for the boys asked if they have any plans for a mixtape.

SUGA first answered, "Nothing is ever planned. Everyone is individually producing and working but we don't know if those songs will end up in the album or a mixtape."

RM added, "To be honest, mixtapes are not released in a certain order. It's a system where you prepare it on your own when you want to."

Maknae Jungkook then said, "Last year, I said I will release a mixtape but I want to sincerely apologize for that statement. I'm not talented enough for a solo mixtape yet. I will work harder and show a better side of me."

Lastly, V added, "I hope there will be a day when the vocal members release mixtapes too."
