YG Entertainment has released a short statement regarding rumors that the agency is receiving a tax-related investigation.

Early on March 18, rumors had begun spreading that the Seoul Regional Tax Office notified the agency that they were under tax investigation. Because of these rumors, people were being told to be careful when considering investing in the company's stocks.

However, YG Entertainment was quick to deny these rumors, stating: "We have not received any notice about a special tax investigation."

Meanwhile, previous reports have revealed that YG Entertainment's stock has plummeted 25% since the beginning of Seungri's Burning Sun case.

"We now deny everything, so that later we can apologize for lying" strategy.

Good job.
