A teen died while trying to film himself in the Han River. 

According to the Mapo Police Station, on March 23, a high schooler, who was drowning in the Han River, was transferred to the hospital but ultimately passed away 5 days later. 

The teen told his friend, "Film me going into the river," and deliberately walked into the cold waters. The police obtained the recording. Based on the footage, the case seems to be an accident with no criminal intent.
