It has been reported that Seungri, Jung Joon Young, and the former F.T. Island member Jonghun may have committed perjury. 

On March 17, SBS's '8 O'Clock News' revealed that the three celebrities had been familiar with the identity of 'Yoon', the police director suspected of corruption and his ties to the former 'Yuri Holdings' CEO Yoo In Suk. Contrary to the three suspects' initial testimony, one of the controversial chatroom had discussed the identity of the police officer, prior to the full public disclosure of the issue.

When one of the participants asked in the chatroom who the police officer was, another participant had shared a photo of 'Yoon', which was then viewed by everyone including the three celebrity suspects.

According to '8 o'clock news', it was also discovered that Seungri, Jung Joon Young, and Jonghun had knowledge of 'Yoon's former employment at the Blue House, and the fact that the police officer had frequently golfed with Yoo In Suk.
