A rep from YG Entertainment says Seungri has been 'in pain'

A rep from YG Entertainment commented on Big Bang's Seungri. 

On March 11, a high ranking YG Entertainment employee explained to YTN Star that Seungri's retirement from the entertainment industry was decided on his own without a discussion with the agency. 

The rep added, "He was in a deeper pain because it all happened right before his military enlistment," and said, "To be honest, nothing has been clearly revealed regarding Seungri throughout the month and a half long police investigation." 

The rep continued, "Seungri has been having a hard time at how he has been causing harm to the people around him."

Earlier, Seungri announced his decision to leave the entertainment industry via Instagram. Meanwhile, the drug, assault, and prostitution investigations surrounding 'Burning Sun' is ongoing.
