Jennie's 'SOLO' becomes first K-Pop female solo MV to surpass 200 million YouTube views

Jennie's "SOLO" has become the first Korean female solo single to surpass 200 million music video views on YouTube!

According to her agency YG Entertainment, the Black Pink member's music video hit the 200 million mark on February 10 at approximately 6:50 PM KST.

"SOLO" was released on November 12 as the first single of Black Pink's solo singles project. In only 23 days, it also became the fastest Korean female solo music video to hit 100 million YouTube views.


Jennie's solo single follows Black Pink's "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "Like It's Your Last," "BOOMBAYAH," "Playing With Fire," and "Whistle" as the sixth Black Pink-related music video to surpass the 200 million view milestone.

At first i thought it was a little strange for her to get a solo so soon. But then I was thinking about it and didn't Park Bom get a solo in the first year or 2 of 2ne1?
