Actor Kim Nam Gil suffers wrist fracture on the set of 'The Fiery Priest'

Actor Kim Nam Gil has suffered a wrist fracture while filming for his currently airing SBS weekend drama, 'The Fiery Priest'. 

His label C-Jes Entertainment told news outlets on February 26, "It's true that Kim Nam Gil is injured. Because he has so many action scenes, even if they try to plan each sequence with the utmost precaution, unexpected situations occur; as a result, he was injured." 

C-Jes continued, "Due to a wrist fracture, wearing a brace is inevitable; he wrapped up his treatment just yesterday. We will do our best so that there will be no damages toward filming. Kim Nam Gil also strongly wants to continue with filming. As viewers' interest toward the production is high, we will put in that much more effort to prevent further injuries and focus on the actor's recovery." 

Meanwhile, Kim Nam Gil's 'The Fiery Priest' tells the story of a rather ill-tempered Catholic priest who partners up with a detective to solve criminal cases. The drama is quickly rising in popularity, recording its best viewership rating of 16.2% recently.
