UBER Driver gives SUPER JUNIOR Donghae his wallet back after losing it in Chile

After wrapping up the SM TOWN concert in Chile and having fun with fellow members and fans, SUPER JUNIOR member Donghae expressed in an Instagram post to fans:

"On my last day in Chile, while I was ubering back with Eunhyuk and Siwon I left my wallet in the car. I tried getting it back but I guess I lost it? Nonetheless, I had a great time with you guys and as long as I am going back with the memory I feel grateful. If you guys find my wallet give it to me when I am back next time! ^^"

Fans expressed great concerned and took to their own hands to contact UBER. They then found out that the UBER Driver had actually returned the wallet back to the staff, after hearing this before leaving the airport, Donghae was grateful to the honest driver, who confessed that he had given the wallet back right away after looking for the ID inside it.

"I wouldn't keep something that is not mine"- the driver assured the fans on the instagram post's comments.

Fans expressed their gratefulness to the honest driver for giving the wallet back.

The news became so big that it was even featured in the national newspaper.

So refreshing to see honest people. There are a lot of people that would take any money they found and toss the wallet. I've had mine stolen twice while at the store in the past. I hope something really good happens for the driver as good karma from doing the right thing.

I had my wallet tossed into a post box by the guy after taking the cash, which frankly i am grateful, because in Singapore to replace my national ID card, there is a "fine" or replacement fee of $100 for first loss, and $200 for 2nd loss, so the cost of replacing the card is far more than the cash i had inside. and the post office will sent the id card back when they see the address on it, so i think the guy who toss the empty wallet into the post box at least saved me the cost of replacing some of the ID cards.

i remember the driver of the Uber, said he returned it to the hotel and i guess the hotel staff returned it to him. good job to them, it made a good impression of the honesty of Chilean globally. (i know its just 1 incident, but still its good to know good things happen).

a lot of user created posts actually get deleted (by staff) and then reposted (by staff) , even if they were well-written.

And the best part is that the Uber driver is not from Chile but from my home country, Venezuela ♡♡ So proud to see my fellow Venezuelan people do the right thing wherever they go. VIVA VENEZUELA CARAJO!!

I've been to Santiago. I was advised to use Uber as the easiest and most economical way to get around, aside from using the subway. There's a lot of traffic and nowhere for a hired car to wait for them while they walk around. While the managers were there to help protect them physically, their sightseeing was probably planned on their own. Actually, I think it's kind of cool they uber'd like regular people.
