Kind-hearted idols that gave abandoned dogs a second chance

Worldwide, dogs are abandoned or given up for adoption every day. In Korea, the number of abandoned dogs vary anywhere from 100,000 to 600,000 a year because people mindlessly buy dogs and realize they don't have the means to take care of them as they grow older.

Most abandoned dogs either live on the streets, are taken to shelters, or are euthanized because the large demand for dogs has led to overbreeding. In response, there are growing numbers of people that are advocating for dog adoption from shelters instead of buying them.
