On January 28, Highlight's label Around US Entertainment confirmed that member Kikwang will be enlisting this coming April 18.
The idol will be enlisting quietly without any public events in order to begin his 4-week basic training. Afterward, it's been reported that Kikwang will serve as a conscripted police officer, much like his fellow Highlight member Yoseob.
Currently, Highlight members Doojoon and Yoseob are serving in the military for their mandatory service. Members Junhyung and Dongwoon also plan to enlist by the end of this year.
