GFriend talked about their group name.
On January 24, GFriend and f(x)'s Luna guested on SBS Power FM's 'Cultwo Show.' During the radio show, DJ Kim Tae Gyun asked if they had other options besides GFriend for their group name.
Sowon answered, "There was World Peace and Guardian Angel."
After hearing the two names, the DJ commented, "I think GFriend is the best," and the special DJ Muzi said, "I like World Peace."

I feel like they talked about this before? It’s mentioned every few comebacks during interviews (this and the viral fancam). But anyways, I’m glad they stuck with . Idk how I feel about “World Peace” but I’m honestly surprised no one’s attempt to name a group “Guardian Angel” yet
