Black Dress was an amazing song so hopefully this one will be just as good and then they'll get the attention they deserve

This is probably a make or break release for this group. If they don't get a solid top 10 hit on Gaon that stays there for a few weeks or some show wins they will likely get shelved as a group and just have individual activities for those that elicit interest as actresses or models as those activities are minimally expensive for the company and generate a healthy return. Solo singing releases will likely dry up as those are expensive to produce. I hope the group gets a good song to release that gives them a fair shot at some success, or we are probably hearing from them for the last time.

I doubt "this group" is gonna make it when they are almost in their 5th year lol. We don't have such a case in kpop. Most groups breakout in the first two years.

Late cases like girl's day or EXID exist but even they were less than 3 years old. Plus girl's day was doing decent as a mid tier gg before the breakout amd EXID was kinda charting. CLC is basically nothing in Korea, they wont suddenly make it now for sure. Truth hurts.

Probably right. Which is a shame because they last few songs have all been really good. It's not like they've been releasing bombs. However, I wasn't a fan of their first few songs so...maybe that's a factor. If you don't make a big splash in the beginning, its next to impossible to get recognition later no matter that your songs are now suddenly awesome.

It's unfortunate that these girls can't get a break in the charts. Black Dress should've been a hit song that got them their first award. But people shouldn't blame Koreans for their lack of success at the moment. People like to blame Koreans, but yet international fans don't watch their MV's and give them a hope of success and Youtube is obviously an open platform where ANYONE can watch and stream their videos. If Koreans aren't interested in them, international fans can help out by watching their comeback MV's and then people will start to notice them when their views go up a lot. You look at Twice or BlackPink and most of the views are from international fans. If Twice and BP have a MV that has 500 millions views, probably at least about, I'm guessing, 50 million views can be done by Koreans alone and the rest are all international fans. Black Dress has only 18 million views. What does that tell you? Even international fans don't really have much interest in them either and yet they talk crap about the Korean audience.

I hate to say it but I think this group is done. (G)-Idle's debut was the beginning of the end for CLC and with the attention they've been getting in the first year of their debut, Cube has a profitable girl group on their hands and won't want to waste their time much longer. I think it's a shame. Are they my favorite girl group? Not really. But it's obvious Cube was very disorganized with their promotions and that hurt any chances these girls may have had.

I feel so bad for these girls. This comeback was so delayed. I hope they were given a song as good as the one they were originally supposed to promote with. In case you didn't know they had already recorded and were almost completely through choreography when Cube Entertainment pulled their song to give to another group that won with it. Good luck to the girls!

About time CLC made a comeback. They deserve their turn, but I'm still waiting for (G)I-DLE's next release too.

I believe they're coming back after their reality show ends, since the girls already said a couple of times that they're working hard on the new song and album. I can't wait too!

..hard to come through, no matter how good the song. If you got in that underrated area, it's hard to move in the other area.

Perhaps now their stans will have smth to focus on instead of bothering other groups and fandoms (izone, (g)i—dle).

Anyway, I'm happy for CLC. Good luck!
