Off The Record Entertainment explained, "The concert in question is an event commemorating the 7th anniversary (8th year since establishment) concert, and in order to celebrate this occasion, Miyawaki Sakura and Yabuki Nako - who have been exclusively named members of IZ*ONE - plan on attending the concert as representatives of IZ*ONE. This does not mean that the two members will go back and forth between IZ*ONE and HKB48 promotions, and the schedules was decided so that the members would be able to celebrate HKB48's anniversary by participating in select stages."

The label then stressed, "As previously announced, Miyawaki Sakura, Yabuki Nako, and Honda Hitomi will no longer participate in any further AKB group promotions as a member of the group, and they will continue to promote as members of IZ*ONE during their exclusive contract period. We sincerly apologize to fans for causing worry, and ask for your understanding."
