AOA’s Seolhyun donates 100 million won (~$89,000) to low-income children


AOA’s Seolhyun joined the Community Chest of Korea Honor Society, donating 100 million won (~$89,000).

According to the Community Chest of Korea, singer Seolhyun recently donated 100 million won (~$89,000) on December 24th, joining the Honor Society as the 1991th member.

Seolhyun is the 6th singer to join Honor Society after singers Hyun Sook (2013), SNSD Yoona (2015), Insooni (2015), Suzy (2015), and Ha Choon Hwa (2016).

On November 29th, Seolhyun donated 50 million won (~$45,000) to low-income children. Less than a month after, on December 20th, she donated another 50 million won (~$45,000) to the child care center.

Seolhyun explained, “Ever since I found out about the hardships and struggles of children who are younger than me, it’s been on my mind. Until now, I received so much support from others and I wanted to return even a little bit of it.

GOOD that SEOLHYUN is doing this in a PUBLIC manner, and taking credit for that, as she should.

That goes for other K-Celebs too. They do NOT need to keep it 'anonymous' somehow.

They gave the MONEY so get the CREDIT (my view).

Plus, what SEOLHYUN did 'target' the MONEY (low income children) is a GOOD choice too.

The 'gift' that I do not follow the logic of it, is ELECTRIC BILLBOARD in New York City (USA) seems WASTE to me.
