Because there are many mega hits like Jang Deok Chul's Good Old Days or Shaun's Way Back Home but non-idols like them can't win any awards if there is online voting included. I'm glad they chose to exclude online voting in the categories that actually matter. Korean music is much more than just KPop and every other show is basically idolfest anyways.

This is just another attempt to control the outcome. You do not want fans to have a voice. Have Golden Disc Awards ever heard of democracy? This is another form of blacklisting. Your so called experts are industry insiders who can be controlled by the powerful and that leaves the artist at a disadvantage. Fans are just as important in voting as so called experts.

That's great! Fans are tired of voting, it gives the idols a chance to receive awards, except for that-boy-group-who-must-not-be-named.
